Dating back to the 1940's the family business began trading from stall on the beach, soon after the building in Rock-a-Nore Road was purchased which passed down from generation to generation, starting with Reggie Lee, then Johnny Swann Snr, and followed by Johnny Swann Jnr, who the business has been with for over 30 years.

The Business still remains to be run by the family with a little added help where necessary and to this day we strive to provide the public with the finest quality seafood.
To this day we still buy in live whelks to cook for our counter along with our producing our own freshly dressed crabs which are all hand picked and dressed 'in house'.

Whether you are a first timer trying out trying your first prawns, cockles, or even oyster (for the more adventurous of you) or a seasoned whelk or jellied eel connoisseur, we aim to ensure that you are eating the finest products available.
